A farmer in Northumberland isn't going to be worried about the weather this winter after constructing this mash-up between an old Volvo personnel carrier and a Defender 90.
First he removed all the bodywork from the ex-Swedish Army Volvo and built a trailer body on to the rear-driven section. Then he did the same on the front driving section.
All the bodywork and the engine were removed to allow him to fit new channel rails to carry the Defender. He then removed the axles and modified the chassis before connecting the Defenders drive shafts and power steering.
The vehicle will be used to feed sheep in winter on the familys upland farm, and will allow feed to be taken up the hills even in the worst of weather.
