Dear Land Rover Friends,

This year, Land Rover celebrates the 60th anniversary of its presence on the market. On that occasion, we have a pleasure to invite you to the feast of the LR brand and its fans in Poland!


The Great Land Rover Picnic…

…will take place at Folwark Klepisko in Nieporęt at the Zegrzyński lake near Warsaw on September 20-21, 2008.


The event will be a family picnic offering something interesting for everyone: fans of classic and modern cars, children and adults, those who appreciate off-road competition and families who love travelling, enthusiasts of distant travels to far ends of the World, and those who value comfort and safety of travelling higher than all the other characteristics of Land Rover cars.

Attractions on the first day of the Rally September 20, 2008

- Exhibition of various historical Land Rovers (your support is very welcome J come and proudly present your vehicles...)

- Exhibition of special vehicles (showcars, racing cars, Dakar Team, GOPR (Mountain Rescue) cars, uniformed services’ cars - MP, ambulances, armoured, special-purpose Defenders - underground copper mine Defenders etc...)

- Presentations from expeditions, trips, off-road rallies etc. by Polish Travellers and Land Rovers Fans – (you are welcome to show your own multimedia presentation of Your travels – you are welcome to do so... )

- Rides on an off-road track in our special “Land Rover Off-Road Centre” (19th century Fort converted into off-road training centre...)

- Two off-road routes (easy and hard) for the participants’ own cars – just for the beginners... J

- Presentations of new models,

- Stalls with parts, equipment, press etc. offered by the Partners of our Rally...

- “First Aid University” – special stand offering first aid instruction run by Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy foundation,

- Presentations by GOPR (Mountain Rescue) from Podhale region – spectacular! Rescue Team with Life saving dogs...

- A vast playground with numerous attractions for children – come with the family...

- Music and dance events: among others, a concert and muster presentation by a Scottish military band,

- Excellent Old Polish cuisine

- Finale: Concerts of Raz Dwa Trzy band
