Winter Trek 01 - 03 February 2013

Area of the event: North - Western Poland ( in Drawsko Pomorskie area )

The base of the event: Hotel Karpno

We start on Friday 01/02 at 19.00

Team briefing at 21.00

The night tour “for tapes” goes according to coordinates and maps. In a large area (a few tens of kilometers at the most), there will be numerous PKP; in each of them, there will be some number of tapes (the number of tapes and their value is specified in the coordinate table).

The task is to reach individual PKP and acquire as many tapes as possible.

Whoever gets to the PKP first, takes the tapes.

The task is to develop a good strategy for your own route based on coordinates and maps, to be the first to reach as many PKP as possible and take the tapes. Of course, the order of arrival at PKP is unrestricted and only depends on the decision the team has made.

The tapes are to be delivered in the base between 8.00 and 9.00

After reaching the base, there will be a rest break until 12.00

Brunch at 12.00.

At 12.30, a map-based tour in search of PK codes distributed along the trail, the team determines the time of arrival to the base.

In the base: sauna + airhole from 16.00 to 21.00.

Half-board at 20.00.

“Fox” hunting at 21.00.

The “Fox” gives location coordinates and waits in that place for 45 minutes since giving the coordinates. They then move to a different spot.

The fox hunting goes on until 03.00, after that you return to base with off-road convoy.

Rest.

Breakfast at 10.00. Result announcements at 11.00.

Tour according to road book and/or maps at 12.00 (outside contest)

We reserve the right to cancel the event no later than by 20/01/2013.

Naturally, in case of cancellation, the fees are fully refunded.

Necessary equipment: 4x4 vehicle, off road tyres, GPS ( navigation and mobile phone )

Price of participation: 540 PLN per crew in the car

Our fee does not include your accommodation in the hotel, meals and vehicle costs.

Approximate cost of this is: night lodging - 100PLN per person ( with breakfast ),

supper - 45PLN per person

Also, please remember that from January 1, we accept enrollments for the 35th Pomerania.
