Juhin tähelpanu asjaolule, et erinevatel aastläikudel on kasutatud erinevaid kaste ja erinevaid turbiine:
RR P38
The 4.0L P38's came with a ZF4HP22 transmission, where the 4.6L P38's came with the stronger ZF4HP24. The torque converters are different for the ZF4HP22 and ZF4HP24 transmissions. On ZF4HP24 gearboxes, the intermediate plate is 15 mm (0.6 in) thicker than fitted to the ZF4HP22 gearbox to accomodate a larger fluid pump unit. To compensate for the increased length of the intermediate plate, the rear extension housing is 15 mm (0.6 in) shorter than that fitted to the ZF4HP22 gearbox
On 4.0 and 4.6 litre petrol models a 280 mm (11 in) diameter torque converter is used. On 4.6 litre petrol models up to 99MY the torque converter is longer than the torque converter used on 4.0 litre petrol models. From 99MY, both the 4.0 and 4.6 litre petrol models use the shorter torque converter previously used on up to 99MY 4.0 litre models.

Disco 2
D2 came out with the ZF 4HP22 and the 4.6 in 2003 the ZF 4HP24.
The 4HP22 and 4HP24 are the same box essentially but the 24 is 15mm longer as it has a bigger fluid pump to get slightly more pressure to cope with the 4.6 liter engine. The mechanicals however are the same other than the overall length.
