At long last it's time to meet the new Range Rover in the flesh! 2010 marks Range Rover's 40th anniversary, and no celebrations would be complete without a sneak peak at what the future holds for the iconic British brand.
A select group of journalists and celebrities will be the first to lay eyes on a full production version of the LRX this Thursday evening, at an event held in partnership with VOGUE magazine at Kensington Palace in London.
As well as first official photos of the compact SUV, also revealed on the night will be the car's name - something that Land Rover has kept a closely guarded secret until now.
This new vehicle will be the 'greenest' Range Rover ever produced it is smaller, lighter and more fuel efficient than any product to wear the iconic badge. What's more it will be offered in 160 markets worldwide and be built right here in the UK - creating a significant number of new jobs.
